Trump called San Francisco “a mess” and said unspecified officials had requested troops for the city,
though Gov. Gavin Newsom had noted
that crime had dropped in the city, with homicides at a 70-year low.
"We have great support in San Francisco, so I would like to recommend that for inclusion, maybe in your next group,” Trump said.

PROTESTING IN 2025
Things are constantly changing.
- The best approach is to assume there are "no" citizen protected rights.
- Because at any moment (*cough* martial law), it could become true.
- In the NEWS, the side that uses violence always looks worse and usually loses the battle.
"Violence begets violence." - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
- It is Against the Law To:
-- Block an officer's path, touch them, or interfere with their operations.
- You Can Legally:
- Record every move they make and word they say in public spaces.
-- Ask for their name, badge, and who they are with.
-- Remain silent.
-- Ask if you are being detained and walk away if the answer is "no".
- The Law and Respect work both ways.
- But note, in these times, ICE does not respect the law, immigrants or citizens.
- And police can arrest us, we can fill a square with protestors, but we cannot arrest police, though we can sue.
- ICE does not have a legal right to arrest U.S. citizens. That is for the police and others.

Special Shoutout to:
Angélica Guerrero, a San Francisco native, who was tackled and detained by ICE on 8/20/25.
As usual, ICE's crimes being caught on camera, scared the cowards away.
“At the end of the day, those with power do what they want,
and the rest of us have to deal with it unless we organize and fight back.” - Angélica Guerrero
